Naphthalene: This agent is produced from tar byproduct. According to the EPA, naphthalene is a carcinogen that can be harmful to the central nervous system.
Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (EGME): Sometimes referred to as 2-Butoxyethanol, EGME is quite dangerous. It can lead to skin burns, irritation of the respiratory tract, eye issues, and other conditions of the skin. It emits a poisonous substance that can lead to nervous system complications.
